Carl Jensen with family 1910? Graves of Carl and Dorthea Jensen and son Jens Jensen

Descendants of Carl Jensen (1859-1944) Carl Jensen was born in Lønstrup, Denmark in 1859. His parents were Jens Nielsen (1820-1892) and Inger Marie Christensen (1824-?). They had 12 children. 11 of those left for America – only Carl Jensen stayed in Denmark where he lived on the farm on which he and his ancestors had been born. Inger Marie was a widow with 3 children when she married Jens Nielsen. Find more information about her 3 children here: Thøgersen-children In 1886 Carl married Dorthea Marie Mogensen (1861-1919) . They both lived on the farm untill their death and both are buried at the little church by the sea, Maarup Church. Carl and Dorthea had 4 children: Jens Jensen (1887-1907) Engine Marie Jensen (1889-1963) Kirsten Marie Jensen (1891-1979) Poul Emil Jensen (1893-1960) This is the story about the family who stayed in Denmark and their descendants.
